Martin Camenisch has been involved in negotiations, mainly in the field of industiral relations, for over 20 years. He has extensive experience in dealing with union relations, both in times of peace and in times of conflict. He is a specialist in collective labor agreements, social plans, collective wage negotiations and conflict negotiations with trade unions. Moreover, he has conducted commercial negotiations in very challenging contexts. He conducts negotiations in a way that permits a continued relationship with counterparts, thus avoiding the pitfalls of short-term gain and long-term loss.
Martin Camenisch is originally a linguist and political scientist. He has an EMBA and has trained as a mediator. Today he is co-head of personnel management at Swiss Post and in this role chief negotiator in industrial relations at one of the largest employers in Switzerland. He previously held various positions in the Swiss Post Group and at Swisscom, namely several years as Head of HR, as a lobbyist, as a project manager, specialist in HR and in corporate communications and (unfortunately without any success) as a waterer of plants.
